Principal's Message

I would like to take this opportunity to extend a welcome back to all students and families to the 2024-2025 school year! I would also like to welcome our new staff members: Miss Sali who will be teaching grades 4/5 and Mrs. Weisbrod, educational associate. This fall we are also excited to have our interns Zoe Akrigg here until Christmas working with Mrs. Lipinski,  and Miss Whitney Flavel, working with Mrs. Hubick. This year we have some new student faces in Cupar School. Our enrolment is 199 students K-12 and that is something to celebrate! Again, welcome to all of the new faces in the building!

Being a part of the school and school community has been a very positive experience for me! The core values of Cupar School are visible through the acts of respect, responsibility, honesty and leadership I have witnessed thus far within the hallways, classrooms and playground of the school. It is very obvious to me that I am quite fortunate to be in the presence of the Cupar School family !

Throughout this year I plan again to provide support and direction to the students and staff at Cupar School. The staff has been working hard to define the outcomes that not only are in alignment with the Prairie Valley School Division outcomes but with the Provincial Education Plan as well. We as a staff have some big plans this year for the Cupar students by way of literacy, numeracy and diversity to name just a few!
